Mr. Maguire grew up in St. Johns County, Florida. He graduated from Allen D. Nease High School in St. Augustine, Florida. Afterward, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Mr. Maguire subsequently earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson Law School in St. Petersburg, Florida.
In 2006, Mr. Maguire moved back to St. Johns County and began practicing law from his office in Flagler Beach, Florida. He handles criminal cases, including DUIs, misdemeanors, felonies, drug crimes, and domestic violence cases and injunctions. He also handles landlord/tenant cases and general civil litigation cases.
Matthew Maguire believes that every client deserves the highest level of legal service, regardless of the size or complexity of the case. He approaches each matter with preparation, persistence, and a results-driven mindset. Unlike large firms where clients may feel like a case number, Mr. Maguire personally manages each file and maintains direct communication with his clients.
